ROLE
Creative Direction & Production Lead
TIMEFRAME
2014 – Present
SCOPE
13+ annual summits
// The Brief

One flagship event, growing every year — without the team growing with it.

The QS APAC Summit is QS's largest single brand and revenue event — sponsorship assets, delegate experience, and on-site brand systems, run across 13+ annual global summits. The challenge wasn't creative quality on its own; it was keeping quality consistent as the event's scale, sponsor complexity and revenue expectations grew year over year, without a proportional increase in headcount or budget.

// The Approach

What actually changed

01
Built reusable sponsorship & delegate asset systems
So each summit stopped starting from zero — templated sponsorship decks, delegate collateral and on-site brand kits that could be adapted per market instead of rebuilt.
02
Directed strategy across distributed teams
Coordinated creative execution across APAC, EMEA and Latin America from a single, consistent brand system rather than region-by-region interpretation.
03
Owned stakeholder translation
Turned complex, sometimes conflicting sponsor briefs into clear creative direction the production team could actually execute against.
// The Result
£2M+
SPONSORSHIP & DELEGATE REVENUE, 2025
Scaled from £429K in 2019 to £2M+ in 2025 — while event complexity grew, not the other way around.
